Customer Scenario
A local fruit and produce retailer with one store location also had an online store with only the checkout process secured. The main products sold online were Ireland Coffee and a variety of fresh fruit gift baskets. Customers could only shop for one product on the Home page. All other shopping was done from a separate shopping page. No integration existed between the shopping page and any other pages on the website.

Recommended & implemented site-wide SSL security on the entire site to provide customer confidentiality & identity protection.
Created a newly designed Home page for a more efficient and visually pleasing shopping experience for website customers.
Created a Best Sellers department, featured department & featured products on the Home page for enhanced customer shopping.
Integrated the main shopping page and all other department & product-level shopping pages with the rest of the website.
Updated website content for improved search engine rankings and promoted the website to search engines and directories.
Established a merchant store for the customer in Froogle, which is Google's online shopping search engine.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Utilized proprietary techniques to promote the website among the big 3 search engines (i.e., Google, Yahoo & MSN) and enhanced site content throughout the website to optimize it for premium search engine results. Monitored results on an ongoing basis and implemented further changes to the website content as needed.
